For Ripped Abs Quick You Have to Lift Some Weight
If you want to get yourself a set of ripped abs quick you are going to have to put in some hard work. Your current overall level of fitness will go along ways to determining just how fast you can whip your abs into shape. The greater your level of body fat the longer it will take because until that layer of fat is gone your six pack will be comfortably hidden.
The burn away that fat layer you need to crank up your metabolism and there is no better way to do that then by building muscle. Here’s the catch though, you can’t just exercise specific body parts. Doing abdominal exercises will not get you what you want. You need to burn fat and to do that you need to do what is called complex movement strength training.
Your entire body is a complex system of muscle, bone, nerves, ligaments, skin, and cells that are all interconnected and lend support to each other. No where is this better seen then with your muscles. Isolating muscle groups during a workout does not support this goal. Your body’s musculature works along a kinetic chain which means that as you move different muscle groups are brought into action to support a complex movement.
If you isolate muscles by doing single joint exercises you increase your risk of injury not to mention a body that is not nearly as strong and functional. You want all your muscle groups to work together and single joint movements are not the way to make this happen.
Let’s look at the crunch, one of the most well known ab exercise. It does a good job of working your abs but that’s about it. Most people experience some sort of back pain when they do this exercise because this movement is creating a muscle imbalance. In fact many people over work their abs to the point that they begin to suffer from chronic back pain. This type of weight lifting movement also does little to burn that excess body fat that’s hiding your abs.
The best way to get a lean powerful body is by using complex movements when you exercise. If you notice most everyday tasks require you to move in a variety of different directions as do most athletic events. It takes all your muscles working in conjunction to support all this movement so it only makes sense that exercising in the same fashion would be beneficial.
The other thing that complex movements such as squats, dead-lifts, and lunges do is strengthen your entire core. Your core muscles are all those muscles that connect your upper body to your lower body and include all your abdominals, your back, and hips. These muscles stabilize your body and working them as a group creates a strong and powerful core.
Complex movement training also works hundred of other muscles in your body including some of the largest such as your quadriceps and hamstrings. You will burn large amounts of calories not only during your workout but also after your workout because increasing lean muscle mass leads to an increased resting metabolic rate. You will also stimulate the production of growth hormone and testosterone which increases muscle growth and fat reduction.
Getting your self a set of ripped abs quick will take some hard work and dedication, but the results will be worth it. Just remember that your abs but a part of your overall muscle system and you need to work the whole system for fast results.

Workout Exercises to Flatten Abs, Achieve Core Fitness and Reduce Lower Back Pain
Why should you care about muscles you can’t even see? The answer is, among other reasons, to flatten abs, eliminate back pain – particularly lower back pain – and achieve core fitness.
By now you are probably familiar with “core training” or you have at least heard the term used on TV or in various fitness publications. Your “core” refers not just to the abdominals, but your entire trunk musculature, including those deep muscles you can’t even see (like the Transversus Abdominis, or TVA).
Back pain is one of the biggest complaints of men of ALL ages, and many women suffer from it as well, especially during and after pregnancy. You see a weak core, combined with other problems such as tightness in certain muscle groups, lousy form and poor selection of exercises is one of the leading causes of lower back pain. The good news is that it’s largely preventable with a few easy exercises.
There’s more. Your core is also the seat of power for your entire body. If you’re an athlete – recreational or competitive – core strength means better performance on the playing field. If you’re a non-athlete, greater core strength means more efficient and safer performance of regular day to day activities. If you know anyone who blew out their back lifting boxes or simply doing work around the house you know what I’m talking about.
About 15 years ago, I was diagnosed with a herniated disk, and at one point a neurosurgeon told me I should be on the lookout for “foot flop”. This is when the nerves in the leg go numb to the point where the foot literally drags on the ground and, he explained, that surgery was imminent and unavoidable. I was fairly freaked out. An alternative therapy was an epidural injection of steroids which, after just one treatment, did provide relief.
I knew that a lifestyle change was in order and fortunately, I was able to rehab my own back without ever going under the knife, thanks to a ton of flexibility work and some intelligent abdominal training. Once you rupture a disk you can rehab to a remarkable degree, but it’s something you always have to be cautious about.
Anyway, in the last few years since I started to use core training methods, and not just the traditional “bodybuilding-style” routines, I’ve seen a greater improvement in my lower low back than ever before. If you haven’t started doing any ball work or core training yourself, I would definitely urge you to look into it.
The reason I’m mentioning core training today is because of the availability of home core fitness programs that do not have to break the bank. In fact there are unique programs available that do not focus on traditional advise such as killing yourself with mind numbing sit ups and crunches.
Looks for programs that offer levels to progress through, as not all of us are ready for the more advanced core training techniques. Level progression from beginner up to “athlete” is ideal. Note that some of the exercises are a lot more challenging than they look in the pictures. You have to try them to appreciate them. Many of them can be done with just your body weight. Others require a stability ball (swiss ball), and a handful can be done with a cable apparatus you’d find in any gym.
So get started on a program that creates core fitness through a workout program that will flatten your abs and reduce lower back pain.

Stomach Fat Loss – Dream Or Reality – You Be The Judge!
Everyone wants a flat stomach. Those unsightly rolls of fat certainly don’t assist when you are trying to impress the opposite sex on the beach. They are also unhealthy and can cause problems for you in later life. So whether you are interested in stomach fat loss purely for vanity or you just want to stay healthy into old age, then read on.
Let´s Get Started
One of the biggest mistakes people make when trying to get a firm flat stomach is to do heaps of exercises like situps and various other torturous regimes, in the false hope that they will get a six pack stomach. The reality is somewhat different, because what happens is that…yes, your abs will get stronger and you may well have a six pack, but nobody is going to see them because they are buried under all those rolls of fat!
Yes, you guessed it, you need to burn of the fat first and then, only then, after working on your exercises and your nutritional plan, will you be able to display that enviable flat stomach. I know, I know! It hurts to think about having to plan this regime properly, but has anything worked up until now….if it had, you wouldn’t be reading this!
Ok! What Do We Do Now?
First you need to put a realistic, doable fitness and diet plan into place that you will be motivated to follow without fail. Nobody is going to castigate you for not sticking to the plan, but at the end of the day, if you don´t do it, the only losers are going to be you and your little (or big!) fat attachments!
The Dreaded Exercise
Your exercise regime does not need to be ridiculously hard. This is not a torture plan, you should enjoy the exercise and on this basis, 3 times a week is more than enough. Time spent exercising should be between 30mins to 1 hour.
Exercises should be of the aerobic variety, to burn those calories off. You can save the Arnold Schwarzenegger exercises for later when you really feel ready for the burn!. The exercises can be things such as using the treadmill or the bicycle…they just need to make your body burn calories.
Remember to talk with the coach at the gym before you begin, to ask them to design a set of exercises to suit your needs. These exercises should not overstress your body, but at the same time should not be so easy that they have no effect. Review this plan on a regular basis with the coach at the gym, to ensure your success.
On the days when you are not exercising, try going for a gentle walk for 20 or 30 minutes, or play some football with your kids….anything just to keep the ball rolling (no pun intended!). What you will then find is that your body will become accustomed to activity every day and you will feel like a different person after a relatively short period of using this plan.
Now For the Food Part
Next you need to consider the food part! You need to bear in mind that the fat didn´t find its way onto your stomach all on its own. It had some help….well actually, a lot of help….from yours truly…you know what I mean…too much beer, fat, rich foods etc etc!
You need to educate yourself with healthy eating habits or that stomach fat loss just isn´t going to happen. It isn´t difficult, if you use a bit of common sense…steer clear of those Big Macs and all that greasy food, Eat fresh fruit, fresh vegetables and homemade food whenever possible. The results of a good diet plan, together with your exercise regime should be nothing less than dramatic, so long as you stick to the plan! To make it easier for you, I have also included a link to a great resource which will show you exactly how to achieve effective stomach fat loss through proper nutrition. Good luck.

Low Fat Foods DON’T WORK.
You cannot lose weight using Low Fat Diets. Low fat foods have been popular for more than 15 years, but yet our society is getting more overweight as each year passes. This fact alone should tell you that eating a purely low fat menu is not the answer to losing weight.
Low Calorie Diets DON’T WORK.
You won’t lose weight using a Low Calorie Dieting Plan either. In fact, eating low calories is the worst thing.
